研究内容
针对危害人类健康的重要病毒病如乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎开展了乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)和丙型肝炎病毒(HCV)的分子流行病学、分子生物学、抗药机理、病毒与宿主(细胞)相互作用等方面的研究,以及动物模型等,揭示病毒致病的分子机理,研制基因工程疫苗,并探索新的诊断及治疗方法。研究杆状病毒侵入哺乳动物细胞的机理、杆状病毒基因组DNA在哺乳动物细胞和实验动物体中的状态及目的基因的表达规律,了解杆状病毒用于基因治疗的安全性和效率,为其奠定应用的基础,同时构建一系列具有自主知识产权杆状病毒载体系统并用于重要疾病的基因治疗。
